You Decide, Kentucky! (YDK!) has received an endorsement of support from the West Kentucky economic development coalition, the Lake Barkley Partnership.

Amanda Davenport, Executive Director of the Partnership, shared on behalf of the organization’s Board of Directors: “As a regional economic development agency we firmly believe that empowering local governments and residents with the ability to issue local tax reforms will greatly benefit our communities and lead to positive change across the state.”

YDK! is immensely grateful for this support. With its focus in Crittenden, Caldwell, Livingston, and Lyon Counties, the Partnership has a keen grasp on the economic and community needs of a region that is often overlooked in statewide work in Kentucky. In our initiative that is committed to building a diverse coalition of support for a constitutional amendment to allow for local decision-making for investments, it is imperative that we have all voices at the table — including those of Western Kentucky.
